Enrolment in courses
Fees quoted relate to the supply of course materials, course tuition, accreditation and business start-up support. Any other services should be deemed as complimentary.
Instalments will only be accepted for students who have a UK bank account.
If paying by instalments an administration fee of £30 will be added to the first instalment.
If you choose to pay by instalments you agree that sufficient funds will be available for us to collect your instalments on the dates designated, regardless of the speed at which you are studying the course and regardless of whether or not you have commenced studying the course at all.
Instalments can only be accepted by credit card and standing order.
If a credit card payment or standing order is declined we will notify you. In which case you will have 14 days to rectify the matter before we automatically attempt to collect the payment again. If the payment is declined a second time the full fees will automatically be due and your course will be suspended until full payment is received. If you expect that you will not be able to pay an instalment we recommend that you contact us immediately to arrange an alternative payment schedule to avoid the above. We aim to treat all cases sympathetically.
Courses should be completed within a timeframe of 12 months. If you cannot complete the course within this timescale you should contact us for an extension.
All course fees must be paid before any certification is issued and before any registration is made with the accrediting body on your behalf.
Transfer of courses
We retain sole discretion as to whether a course may be transferred from you to a third party. Such requests must be made in writing by mail or email.
We retain the sole discretion as to whether you may transfer to another course offered by us. Such requests must be made in writing by mail or email. In such circumstances, you will be required to pay additional postage and any difference in course fees. If the course fees of the new course are less than the original course, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Transfer of courses in both of the above circumstances is subject to an administration fee of £30.
Delivery, Cancellations, Refunds and Returns
Course materials will be despatched within 10 days of receipt of your order. If we are unable to despatch your course materials within this timeframe we will contact you to agree a delivery date. If the proposed delivery date is not acceptable you will be entitled to a full refund or transfer of course.
According to the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you have a cooling off period of seven working days from receipt of goods. You will be required to make such a request in writing to Lotus. You will be required to return the materials using a courier, royal mail special delivery or royal mail recorded delivery at your own expense. Materials must be returned in a satisfactory and complete condition before any refund is made.
You must let us know if your materials have not arrived within 28 days of your order, otherwise they will be deemed to have arrived safely. Any non-arrival of materials due to incomplete or incorrect address details provided by the student will be the responsibility of the student and charges will be made for additional course materials to be sent.
Life Coaching
You will be required to sign a commitment contract that outlines your responsibilities and those of your coach to make sure you are happy with the service you will be provided.
Business Start-up Mentoring
Business start-up mentoring should not be taken before you are ready to plan and start your business. This can be any time after completing your course.
Start-up mentoring is done solely by email with a maximum of one email per week, unless agreed in advance with your mentor.
Start-up mentoring is limited to 3 months, unless agreed in advance with your mentor.
Lotus reserves the right to request a monthly fee for continued mentoring if requested by you. This fee will be agreed as appropriate between you and us.
