Interior Design Home Study Course

Following the Interior Design home study course you’ll be able to:

• describe the history of interior design, classic design styles and the work of leading designers
• investigate the seven design elements which contribute to a design
• explore the room elements which influence a design effect
• undertake an interior design project
• develop a business plan for establishing a design business
• identify the tools of the trade

Qualification

The Interior Design home study course leads to the award Diploma in Interior Design - ASET Level 3. ASET is a leading UK awarding body recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.

Unit 6 Tools of the Trade

Duration

You may register at any time and have a full year to complete your studies, with extensions being granted at our discretion. The Interior Design Home Study Course will take around 120 hours of study to complete.

Tutor Support and Assessment

The course is designed for you to study at home or work. You will receive a course manual, assignments and studyguide plus tutor support by mail and email. You will also have access to a dedicated student support line during working hours.

Each unit is followed by a written assignment, which is submitted and marked by your tutor. There is no external examination required.
