The Lotus Belief
Lotus is committed to supporting women in their search for a better balance between life and work. Through coaching, training and business support it is our mission to equip women with the vision, confidence and skills to run their own business, and more specifically, businesses that can work in harmony with family and personal commitments.
In today's society many women feel an imbalance between working life and family life, and with it a perpetual feeling of guilt. At the core of our philosophy is the belief that all women should be free to live a full and balanced life, finding fulfilment in personal, family and work commitments – GUILT FREE!

“Following the birth of my baby daughter I met lots of women at various mother and baby groups who dreamt of working for themselves, instead of returning to employment. They didn't want to work in jobs that made no allowance for their new roles as mothers (which, by the way, we think is the most rewarding and important job you'll ever have!). The problem was most mums were at a loss as to what they could do. Because I was already working from home, mums often looked to me for inspiration and ideas. I could see how lucky I was, and soon set about finding a way I could help other women achieve a good work/life balance. And so, Lotus was born ... I know it sounds clichéd, but we really are different to other course providers. We're more than that, we're also a source of coaching and support for women searching for a better work/life balance. Quite simply, it's our passion. People who work with Lotus are at various stages in their lives. Some have young babies and are thinking about returning to work after maternity leave. Others have older children at school, or who have left home. Then there are those that are planning ahead for their future family.
